Hello and welcome to my learning portfolio!

My name is Anju (pronounced anne-joo), I use she/her pronouns, and I am in my second year of the BEd program at UVic! I am a settler and a visitor on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen peoples, and am incredibly privileged to live, learn and work on these lands.

I’m originally from Salt Spring Island where I have lived for the past 14 years.  There, I have lead many nature summer camps, and worked at a preschool/kindergarten nature school that ultimately made me realize my love for kids and teaching! Some of my hobbies include kayaking, climbing, backpacking and walking my dog. I also love capturing candid moments on my film camera!

I’m incredibly grateful to call Victoria and Salt Spring Island my home, and am so stoked to explore even more of the West Coast and beyond!

Me, my brother and our dog Aspen.
Beautiful home.
